Young Life is a community of caring adults who are dedicated to guiding and supporting adolescents during their formative years. By participating in Young Life alongside their kids, parents can strengthen the bond within their family and gain a deeper understanding of their child's journey through adolescence. This involvement can create lasting memories, foster open communication, and provide a safe and nurturing environment for their teenagers to explore their faith, build strong friendships, and develop essential life skills.

Young Life is a local first community led ministry made up of adults that share their time and talents with high school kids to build friendships and introduce them to Jesus Christ.
Young Life staff members are dedicated individuals who passionately mentor and guide young people towards personal growth and faith. As full time leaders, they play a pivotal role in fostering positive connections and spiritual development in their local communities.
Young Life leaders are volunteers from the community, either college-aged or young professionals who volunteer their time to guide and engage local students. From driving kids to and from club, to cheering them on at school games and events, our leaders are meeting with kids first-hand.
The Young Life committee is a dedicated group of individuals from the local area who work collaboratively to support and oversee the activities and mission of the organization within their community. Their commitment and strategic guidance help ensure the success and impact of Young Life programs.
In every local area, a dedicated group of adults who share the Young Life mission forms a committee. This mission revolves around introducing adolescents to the teachings of Jesus Christ and nurturing their spiritual growth. The committee is a diverse mix of individuals from various backgrounds, professions, and churches, including many caring mothers and fathers.
Comprising of parents, Young Life alumni, and respected community leaders, the committee plays a crucial role by providing essential financial, administrative, and moral support to the local Young Life team.
If you're seeking a meaningful way to contribute and create an immediate positive influence, our Committee welcomes you!
A VITAL BASE
The Committee serves as the cornerstone of Young Life activities in the Georgetown Area. New Young Life clubs often emerge due to the enthusiasm and awareness generated by the committee's efforts. We enthusiastically encourage participation from adult Young Life alumni who bring their valuable experience and parents who either have kids in Young Life or anticipate their involvement in the future.
